Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc.) — Swiss Highlights uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure site usage. This tool sets no cookie, creates no persistent identifier, and produces no browser fingerprint.

Data collected

Aggregated counts of page views and interactions (e.g. search used, filter activated, map opened). No name, address, precise location, advertising identifier or raw search text is transmitted.

Measured events

Search used · zero results · filter changed · filters reset · place opened (from search, map, collection, region, nearby) · map marker · map cluster · Google Maps requested · map loaded · official site opened · language changed · gallery opened · collection selected · tourist region selected.

Transmitted properties

Page language, page type, canonical place identifier, canton code, tourist region or collection identifier, result count, active filter count, viewport class (mobile / tablet / desktop), search length bucket (1–3, 4–6, 7+ characters).

Data not collected

Raw search text · IP address from application code · first name, last name or email · precise GPS position · browser fingerprint · cross-site identifier · API key · any free-form content.

Third party contacted

Events are sent to vitals.vercel-insights.com (Vercel Inc., hosting operator). The script is served from the same domain (/_vercel/insights/script.js). No other analytics third party is used.

Retention

Configurable in the Vercel dashboard (90 days by default). Swiss Highlights does not export this data.

Opting out

An ad blocker or disabling JavaScript is sufficient to prevent any data from being sent. The site works normally without the measurement script.

Interpretation limits

Measurements are aggregated lab indicators, not real-field Core Web Vitals. They cannot identify a visitor. Service activation in the Vercel dashboard is a human step not yet performed at the time this code was deployed: no data is collected until that activation takes place.
